Big Pigeonsegg organ


              Early Medieval Organ with pipes after "Pigeons Egg" model

Blockchest with two always functioning 8 foot stops and/or, by upper slides registrable, a 6 and 4 foot. Two hand pumped bellows are situated at the back of the organ. Tuning is Pythagorean after Arnout van Zwolle.
Pitch a=460 Hz.
Pipes made of 95% lead and all with the same diameter; a pigeon's egg of 30 mm..
By the different timbres in the bass and treble, these stops gives early medieval music an extra dimension.
